Brooke gives his thoughts flying the BGD Luna 3 after placing 4'th out of 26 foot launch pilots in December's National competition. We're so proud of Brooke for finishing in 4'th, having never previously flown the BGD Luna 3, with no practice or preparation for the competition (he filled in for another pilot just before the event commenced), and being at 10-18 years older and 90-100lbs heavier then Kyle, Gillian, and Whitney who each earned their places on the podium!

Today's all day in-flight treasure hunt required pilots to take photos of checkpoints on the Gaggle App, avoid flight within over 50 no-fly areas, and also find the unknown "hidden" treasure within a 14 SQ MI circle. It was a huge game of psychology, strategy and skill, with event director Leah Catullo pulling the strings to the rules!

Day 2 required competitors to shut-down their motors at high altitude and attempt to land in the center of a bulls-eye on the field. Points were score based on the first piece of earth touched by any part of the body! Whitney Horkey dominated this event with a perfect score!
